Growing up in an Australian–Italian household, she learned early that food is never just food, it’s the heart of every occasion, the backdrop for stories, laughter, and connection. Her fondest memories are of long lunches that spilled into evenings, where conversations flowed as generously as the wine.
Inspired by those moments, Lia founded Stories to Gather in 2019 to reimagine how food can be experienced. Guided by warmth and artistry, she transforms produce into immersive, sensory-rich expressions, whether through bespoke food installations, thoughtfully curated hampers, or intimate gatherings.
