Sleeping Baby Bake ~ Peach and Blackberry Crostata

Spending slow days at home and the gorgeous sun shining inspired me to bake one of my favourite Italian desserts...Crostata. With its biscuit style pastry laden with fruits it is a delight to make, (and eat), as it is always best when it is a little bit rustic and not so perfect.

I used Athena Calderone's recipe which you can find here. I love peach and rosemary jam. Each summer my father and I always make a batch so when I saw the use of thyme in this recipe I knew I had to try it.
Feel free to get creative with the flavour combinations and make the most of what fruits you have at home.
Enjoy, Lia x
